Taste of Marietta, one of the largest and tastiest events in Georgia, returns to the Historic Marietta Square on Sunday, April 24 from 11am-7pm. With an impressive variety of restaurants – some new to the event, along with past favorites – this year’s festival is sure to be better than ever. Nearly doubling in size over the past 10 years, Taste of Marietta has consistently been named a top festival in Cobb County.

Now in its 23rd year, Taste of Marietta brings together over 75 Cobb County restaurants showcasing their best dishes and festivalgoers will not be disappointed in the variety of offerings. Admission to the event is free and “tastes” – ranging from Italian to seafood, steak to BBQ, and all the sweets imaginable – are available for $1 to $5.  The food truck lineup, always a crowd favorite, returns with over 10 different trucks.

In addition to the delectable bites from restaurants and caterers, the family festival will feature the Kids Alley complete with moonwalks and sand art.  Musical entertainment can be heard throughout the festival from the Cobb Life Stage and the Main Bandstand. The day will conclude with the Sunset Concert featuring Electric Avenue on the main stage in Glover Park at 5pm.  Evening concert tables may be reserved, but concertgoers can also bring their blankets for a picnic in the park!

CSX is joining us for this year’s event to raise awareness about rail safety. CSX representatives will be stationed at the railroad crossings to remind people of the dangers of walking or riding near railroad property. Through safety outreach, CSX strives to reduce the number of incidents between trains and pedestrians/vehicles.

This flavorful event is hosted by the Marietta Visitors Bureau in conjunction with the City of Marietta. For additional information or to reserve your concert table, visit tasteofmarietta.com or call the Marietta Visitors Bureau at 770-429-1115.
