Saturday, June 11, 2016 will be the 22nd Annual AHS Garden Tour from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (rain or shine). There are a number of beautiful gardens lined up for your touring pleasure in the Atlanta Metro area. The tour will feature the genus Hydrangea in several different types of settings in gardens both large and small.
Tickets will be available on the day of the tour (6/11/16) from 9:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. ONLY at TWO of the tour gardens — Garden #1: 2607 Cotton Mill Court, Marietta, GA 30068 and Garden #7: 3254 Wesley Chapel Road, Decatur, GA 30034.
The tickets for the tour are $30 for a single membership (1 tour ticket) and $40 for a couple/family membership (2 tour tickets) which includes a one-year membership in the society.
Membership has its perks. There are three Membership Lecture Meetings a year: February, April and October. They have three newsletters a year, which include detailed recaps of the lectures, with lots of pictures. They will also have a new, informational and updated membership directory. It is $30 for a single membership and $40 for a couple/family membership (membership includes your tour ticket(s)!)
Unfortunately this tour is not wheelchair accessible.
