The CD Release Party for Brandon Crocker’s debut acoustic EP “Lazy Day” will be held at Land of a Thousand Hills Coffee Shop in Roswell on June 26th.
A fresh new voice in the pop genre, Brandon Crocker’s debut acoustic EP, “Lazy Day,” invites you to join him on a peaceful, sunny day floating on the water, leaving all cares and troubles behind. Along with the smooth guitar from Savannah’s own, James Smith and the cool congas of Leo Zulueta, this debut EP is sure to please. Brandon has a soothing voice, which is familiar to that of James Taylor and yet his interesting chord progressions, rhythm and lyrics–influenced by artists such as Jack Johnson, Jason Mraz, and John Mayer–combine to create a very unique sound. His single “Lazy Day” combines these influences with an added touch of bossa nova
influence from his days spent in Brazil.
While music is an essential creative freedom for Brandon, writing has always been the core of his music and his creativity. “I love to tell stories, says Brandon.” “Sometimes it’s a humorous event that sparks a song, and sometimes I like to write a song purely based on the feeling of a moment. I don’t see myself as much of a musician and I do a writer.” Brandon’s debut Acoustic EP “Lazy Day” is now available on iTunes and Amazon music stores and Rhapsody radio. This summer, Brandon will be touring all over the southeast in support of his new EP.
