Pope Volleyball Carwash

Cracker Queens Unite at the Marietta Museum of History
Roaring laughter is a sure bet at 2pm on September 29th as Lauretta Hannon, author of The Cracker Queen: A Memoir of a Jagged, Joyful Life, celebrates with a fundraiser for the Marietta Museum of History. The event titled All Lit Up will include a lively presentation by Hannon and the only pre-publication reading from her upcoming book, tentatively titled Sermons for Twisted Sisters.
Hannon was named “the funniest woman in Georgia” by Southern Living magazine and her book was listed as one of the Top 25 Books All Georgians Should Read by the Georgia Center for the Book.
Reservations are not required for All Lit Up. The event begins at 2 p.m. on Saturday, September 29, 2012. The cost is $10 per person; access to all museum exhibits is included.
