The Cobb Chamber and Cobb’s public school systems invite you to participate in a unique, behind-the-scenes experience as a “Teacher for a Day” to better understand one of Cobb County’s strongest assets.
As a Teacher for a Day, you will have the chance to work side-by-side with one of Cobb County’s outstanding Teachers of the Year to gain firsthand knowledge of the challenges and strengths local educators face on a daily basis. This program will take place on Tuesday, Feb. 23 in Marietta City and Cobb County Schools, as well as Cobb’s post-secondary institutions. It will require the commitment of a half workday, but will provide a greater understanding of the educational process and opportunities in Cobb County.
This program can be a very rewarding experience for members of the Cobb business community, Cobb’s teachers and our students. An application for this program can be found online. If you would like to participate, please complete the online application by Friday, Feb. 12.
