Glover Concert Series: Still Swinging. The Glover Park Concert Series kicks off the 2016 season with big band music on the Marietta Square. A limited number of tables can be reserved, however personal tables, tarps and plastic ground coverings are prohibited inside of Glover Park and will be removed. A Garden Faire. Each year the North Fulton Master Gardeners present a one-stop shop for everything you need to make your gardening dreams a reality. Beethoven’s Ninth presented by Georgia Symphony Orchestra and Chorus. Beethoven’s ever-joyful Ninth Symphony: one of history’s greatest manifestations of creative output, is his final complete symphony and universally considered his greatest work. 8pm. River Rendezvous. Come participate in River Rendezvous 2016! Visit three sites to monitor along Rottenwood Creek where it joins the Chattahoochee River. Collect water samples, photo document the site, pick up litter, and conduct a habitat assessment. 8:30am-2pm. RSVP required. White Out Child Sexual Abuse Day and Voices United Concert. April is child abuse awareness month. Voice Today, a non-profit organization, has a mission to break the silence and cycle of child sexual abuse through awareness, prevention, and healing programs. On April 30th, Voice Today wants you to take their online Pledge to Protect and further show your support by wearing white on April 30th for the innocence of our children. Project 82 Kenya Second Annual Golf Tournament. All proceeds will support their infant rescue ministry in Kenya.  Silent auction begins at 7:30 am followed by a shotgun start at 9am. $150 per golfer, $600 per foursome.
