Niche.com has released its 2016 Best Suburbs To Live in Georgia, and our East Cobb clears the top 10 with its fifth-place finish. Niche uses data compiled by sources such as the U.S. Census Bureau, the FBI, Bureau of Labor Statistics and other entities.
It also takes into account several factors when it considers adding cities to its list, including how local schools perform, crime rates, housing trends, employment rates and access to amenities.
Niche also reviews such as cost of living, the percentage of residents who have received a bachelor’s degree or higher, job opportunities, commute times and nightlife.
The top 10 in the list includes:
- Decatur
- Big Creek (Forsyth County)
- Alpharetta
- Johns Creek
- Northeast Cobb
- Smyrna
- Roswell
- Milton
- Vinings
- Mableton
