Golf for a good cause: three events this Monday

  • Golf for His Glory sponsored by Mt. Zion United Methodist Church benefiting MUST Ministries.  Limited to first 144 paid golfers.  Registration:  7:30am.  Breakfast with special guest speaker Larry Nelson, three-time major championship pro golfer at 8am.  $135/player or $600/foursome.  Indian Hills Country Club, 4001 Clubland Drive, Marietta.  More info:
  • The Men of  St. Andrew United Methodist Church of Marietta invites golf enthusiasts everywhere to the 12th annual golf outing at the Eagle Watch Golf Club,  3055 Eagle Watch Dr. in Woodstock. Registration will take place from 8-9am followed by a shotgun start at 9am. Cost is $95 for an individual player and $15 for individual lunch only.  Team sponsorships, flag sponsorships, and hole sponsorships are also available.   • Get your Clubs Ready & Let’s Go.  The Cindy Donald Dreams of Recovery 2012 Family & Friends Golf Tournamentis set for May 21, 2012 at Brookfield Country Club. The Cindy Donald Dreams of Recovery Foundation is committed to creating a positive change for those individuals facing the many challenges which accompany spinal cord and/or brain injuries.

    The Cindy Donald Dreams of Recovery Foundation strives to help individuals who have suffered the devastating effects of paralysis due to spinal cord and/or brain injuries receive the therapy they so desperately need, as well as the necessary therapeutic equipment to promote nerve regeneration and gain muscle mass. Through knowledge and experience, the foundation is dedicated to promoting awareness and need for funding of scientific research to find a cure for paralysis.
