East Cobber Kristin Harsh-Sharma is making the art of Indian cooking easy (and tasty!) for aspiring chefs and busy moms. In 2007, Kristin Sharma started her business, Modern Day Masala, in her own kitchen, and now it’s a successful packaged spice company with a production facility in East Cobb County. “Masala” means “spice” in Indian, and Sharma’s business, Modern Day Masala, produces six signature spice blends that bring the complex flavors of Indian cuisine to consumers.
