Mother of the Year 2007: Trisha Hester

Trisha HesterHere is the winning essay written by Haylee Hester, 10-year-old daughter of Trisha Hester.

I think my mother should be the mother of the year because she is a bus driver for East Cobb. She works very hard and I love her very much. She loves all of her kids she drives every day. She gives the middle school kids and all the teenagers lots of things on special occasions. She is the best mom ever to me and my brother. She takes care of us when we are sick and she always makes sure we have good dinners every day. She is special.

My mom also cares for other people. I think she would help anyone. My mother drives bus number 6032 and her name is Trisha Hester. Her birthday has passed a couple of days ago, April 5, and I wasn’t able to get her a present so I wrote this to try to give her a special present.

I think she deserves Mother of the Year with all my heart. This would be a great present for my mother and if you met her you would see she is the best Mother of the Year.

Thank you very much,

Haylee (10) and Landon (8), Sedalia Park

PS. I have my fingers crossed!
