Kickoff the season! High school football games tonight!!

Today marks the second week of the high school football season throughout most of Georgia with some schools playing their first game. The East Cobb community has a lot to look forward with this year’s crop of football talent, most notably Walton’s Tyren Jones, as the weather transitions into autumn. No game is minor, all games start at 7:30pm and will be played on site unless a change is noted.

Games scheduled for August 31, 2012 (kickoff at 7:30pm unless noted)

Hillgrove vs. Lassiter (6:30 P.M. at McEachern)

Sprayberry at Kennesaw Mountain

Marietta at Pope

Walton at McEachern (8:30 P.M.)

Mount Paran Christian at Our Lady of Mercy

Whitfield Academy at Pace Academy
