Calling All Kindergarten and New-to-Cobb-County Students for Next Year! The Cobb County School District (CCSD) will be registering all new kindergarten students and students new to first grade for the upcoming 2016-17 school year on March 30 at all Cobb County elementary schools from 8:30 a.m.-11:30 a.m. There is NO afternoon registration time. Georgia law requires that kindergarten students be five years old on or before September 1, 2016. First grade students must be six years old on or before September 1, 2016, to be registered.
