Lassiter Band Booster Association (LBBA) will host its Spring Community Recycle Day on Saturday, April 16, 2016 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Everyone is invited to drop off a wide array of items in the front parking lot of Lassiter High School, 2601 Shallowford Road in Marietta / East Cobb. A donation of $10 per vehicle is requested. This fundraiser helps defray the cost of band participation for all band families and provides financial support for educational enrichment and instrument repair and replacement.

Federal Recyclers will be on hand to help you get rid of stuff you no longer need but don’t want to cart to the landfill. Federal Recyclers accepts just about everything: small electronic devices, tools, small and large appliances like lawnmowers and power-washers, as well as metals and paint. There is a separate disposal fee assessed for paint, TVs and monitors. Visit www.federalrecyclers.com for a complete list of accepted items.

If your items are too big or too numerous to transport on your own, LBBA volunteers will pick up your recyclable items for an additional donation. Please email recycling@lbba.org to schedule a pick-up.
