Chick-fil-A Bowl Peach Bowl, Parade and FanFest
Monday, January 1: 8am
Watch the parade, complete with bands, cheerleaders, mascots and more! Starts at 8am. The parade ends at the Georgia World Congress Center (285 Andrew Young International Boulevard). New Year’s Eve Bash at the Battery Atlanta
Sunday, December 31 Kids/family party 5:30-8pm Adult party 9pm-12:30am.
The kids/family party will feature circus acts, giveaways, and ice-skating. Stage show performances, ice-skating. The adult party will feature aerialists and acrobats, countdown to New Year’s, and fireworks. The Battery Atlanta, 755 Battery Avenue, Atlanta. BatteryATL.com.

New Year’s Eve at The Strand

A NYE Tribute: Queen & Tom Petty. A tribute to the music of Queen and Tom Petty, performed by the amazingly talented Georgia Player’s Guild (GPG)! The GPG is thrilled to be honoring the incredible musical legacy of rock supergroup Queen and American legend Tom Petty in a concert that is guaranteed to bring in the New Year right. Tickets are $35 in advance and $40 starting on December 25. This show is assigned seating Tickets: $35. Since Auld Lang Syne
Sunday, December 31: 6pm
The Marietta Square Rings in the New Year with two celebrations. New Year’s Eve will kick off with family activities at 6pm with a drop at 7pm. At 8pm, a wonder filled evening celebration begins to welcome in the new year together at the stroke of midnight and runs through 1am on New Year’s Day.
