As Co-Presidents of the Eastern Cobb County Council (ECCC) of PTAs, Stephanie Daniels and Anita King help 35 East Cobb PTAs find ways to improve the academic lives of East Cobb children. Ms. King explains her goal as Co-President is, “to see that all children regardless of cultural background, are successful so they can reach their highest potential in, not only school, but in life.”
As Co-Presidents, Stephanie and Anita spend countless hours attending and planning meetings, problem-solving for PTA presidents, and participating in workshops. Anita lives in the Chastain Glenn subdivision with her husband, Lennie, and her 14-year-old son, Colin Hagins, a rising freshman at Sprayberry High School. Stephanie lives with her husband, Steve; daughter, Casey, a fifth grader; and her son, Alex, a second-grader. Both children attend East Side Elementary School.
Anita and Stephanie both agree that the best part about East Cobb is the quality of life it offers to families and having the support of parents in the schools, which yield great learners and quality schools.
