Erin Swichkow of Marietta recently received the Welch Allyn Award during Southern College of Optometry’s 25th annual convocation ceremony in Memphis, Tenn.
The Welch Allyn Award is given for academic and clinical excellence. Swichkow was also selected to receive a third-year Clinical Skills Award, recognizing students who have demonstrated outstanding academic and clinical skills.
A Lassiter High School graduate, Swichkow earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Georgia. She is the daughter of Ron and Leslie Swichkow of Marietta.
