SAME Parade Route!
The 1 mile EAST COBBER parade will still begin at 10am in the Mount Bethel Elementary School parking lot, travel south on Johnson Ferry Road, and turn left onto Olde Towne Parkway.
NEW Festival Site!
The EAST COBBER Festival will now be in the south parking lot of Johnson Ferry Baptist Church immediately following the EAST COBBER parade. From 11am—3pm, the free Festival will feature arts and crafts, local businesses, food concessions, carnival games, and an entertainment stage.
The EAST COBBER Parade will be staged at Mount Bethel Elementary School parking lot at 1210 Johnson Ferry Road. Beginning at 10 am, parade participants will march south on Johnson Ferry Road, proceeding toward Fountains of Olde Towne Shopping Center at 736 Johnson Ferry Road.
As a safety measure, the Cobb County Police Department will shut down Johnson Ferry Road –both northbound and southbound lanes– from Roswell Road to Lower Roswell Road. This stretch of Johnson Ferry Road will be closed to traffic from 9:30 – 11:15 am. Princeton Lakes Drive will also be closed from 8:30 – 10:30 am. Woodlawn Drive will be not be affected.
Cobb County Department of Transportation Road Detours include the intersections of Indian Hills Parkway/Upper Roswell Road and Indian Hills Parkway/Lower Roswell Road, the intersections of Timber Ridge Parkway/Upper Roswell Road and Timber Ridge Parkway/Lower Roswell Road.
