Symphony on the Square, a community and professional orchestra of 60 players, will present a free Mother’s Day Pops Concert at East Cobb Park on Saturday, May 7, beginning at 7:00 p.m. This group of talented musicians was formed six years ago by Dr. Paul Hill of Marietta First Baptist Church. Its membership of talented musicians represent the entire metro Atlanta area.
Musical selections will include A Tribute to John Williams, The Sound of Music, Take Five, The Best of the Beatles, The Phantom of the Opera and many more. Strand Theatre vocalist Catherine Moulton will sing a selection from Les Miserables with the orchestra.
