The Cobb County Police Department’s Crimes Against Persons Unit is investigating a bank robbery, which occurred at 2486 Roswell Road in Marietta, Georgia, shortly before noon on Friday, April 1.

According to investigators, a male entered the Regions Bank and demanded money from a teller. The teller complied with the demands, and the male fled the area after receiving an undisclosed amount of cash.

White male, 6’00” tall, described as being in his early forties and average build. He had short brown hair and a full beard. The perpetrator was wearing a light-colored collared shirt with a dark-colored windbreaker and light blue jeans. He was also wearing a black Nike baseball cap and sunglasses. The male was armed with a small black handgun during this incident.

It is believed that this perpetrator was also involved in a bank robbery on February 4, 2016 at 4209 Roswell Road in Marietta, Georgia at the Fifth Third Bank.
