The Men of  St. Andrew United Methodist Church of Marietta invites golf enthusiasts everywhere to the 12th annual golf outing on Monday, May 21, 2012 at the Eagle Watch Golf Club,  3055 Eagle Watch Dr. in Woodstock. Registration will take place from 8-9am followed by a shotgun start at 9am.

“We will have a great day of golf at Eagle Watch Golf Course in Woodstock,” said St. Andrew United Methodist Men’s President Gordon Mosley. “This is the only fundraiser that our group has each year to help us meet the needs of less fortunate families in our area during Thanksgiving and Christmas.”

“For the last few years, we have provided a weeks’ supply of groceries, including turkeys or hams, for 75 families during Thanksgiving and Christmas,” he said. “We have also provided Christmas gifts to their 200 children.”

The event will follow a Ft. Lauderdale Scramble format. Each golfer who participates will receive a gift package. Door prizes will also be awarded to lucky winners at lunch following the competition.

Cost is $95 for an individual player and $15 for individual lunch only.  Team sponsorships, flag sponsorships, and hole sponsorships are also available. To get more information or a registration form via email, please contact Gordon Mosley at 404-667-3221 or via email at
