The Marietta “MUTTropolitan Pet Fashion Show” will make its runway debut 2-6 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 28. This unique event will benefit the Cobb Animal Control shelter, Ahimsa House, a nonprofit organization that helps shelter people and pets who had to flee their homes because of domestic violence, and PAWSitive Supporters, a nonprofit group doing spay and neuters in low income areas of Cobb.
The event will feature dogs on the runway of the fashion show. There will also be pet-related vendors, entertainment, light food and beverages and a silent auction, all benefiting the shelter and two nonprofit organizations. Animal Control staff will also bring dogs who are available for adoption and collect unexpired, unopened dog or cat food to donate to a local pet food bank.
The event will be held in exhibit halls A and B at Jim Miller Park, 2245 Calloway Road, Marietta. For more information or to purchase tickets contact Alison at678-978-1475 or visit mariettamuttro.com.
