Attend the Patti Lyons Fundraiser at Red Sky on August 1st.
On Wednesday, August 1 from 6pm – close, Red Sky will host a fundraiser for the Patti Lyons Foundation.
In October of last year Patti was diagnosed with stage 4 malignant melanoma. Within weeks she had radical surgery to remove a large tumor and a significant portion of her digestive system. She soon learned that the cancer had spread to her liver and lungs as well. Since then, she has undergone several aggressive treatments involving extended hospital stays. Patti has been unable to work since her surgery. Between hospital stays she has worked to find resources that could assist with her soaring medical costs and household expenses. Now she is asking the East Cobb community for help. Patti Lyons has been an active member of the East Cobb community for ten years, raising her two sons, Royland and Thomas, as a single parent.
