Looking for something different to do outside of East Cobb? The St. Regis Atlanta, located in the elegant enclave of Buckhead, has announced the launch of Tapas on the Terrace at The St. Regis Bar. The new outdoor series connects guests with the in-town resort’s acclaimed culinary team in the relaxed and elegant setting of the beautiful St. Regis Bar patio. The St. Regis Atlanta launched the weekly Tapas on the Terrace events last Thursday, May 5, with a Cinco de Mayo-themed offering of tacos with freshly-grilled meats and refreshing margaritas. After the first event, the series will continue through the summer every Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m.
“We look forward to sharing upcoming spring and summer evenings with The St. Regis Bar guests,” said Senih Geray, general manager. “The weekly Tapas on the Terrace events offer memorable culinary experiences that involve not only an array of delicious dishes prepared on our terrace grill, but the opportunity to visit with our talented chefs who create them while enjoying a gracious atmosphere that also includes live music.”
The St. Regis Atlanta will present the Tapas on the Terrace event series in the exquisite outdoor ambience of the beautifully-lit terrace where guests may socialize while chefs grill a selection of delectable meats and vegetables. Celebrating the flavors and influences of global cuisine with a different theme each week, the tapas-style dishes include offerings such as Thai One On (May 18), a dish of Red curry and coconut chicken wings, sweet lemon grass, cilantro and peanut pesto; Southern Oyster Grill (May 25) featuring oysters seasoned with seaweed bacon butter and Chef Jimmy’s signature hot sauce; and ATL’s Best Burger (June 1), double-stacked patties, American cheese, brioche bun, and B&B pickle.
Live music from The St. Regis Bar will add to the casually refined experience. The cost is $25 per guest, which covers unlimited food offerings, and a featured beverage that pairs with the dishes will be available for an additional charge. The St. Regis Bar will highlight themed events and dishes through the spring and summer months.
