The application for 8th grade students to apply to the Wheeler Magnet Program for the 2013-2104 school year are available at www.wheelermagnet.com and are due by December 7th. Open House for prospective students will be held on November 1st at 7PM. A presentation will be held in the gym followed by tours of the facilities and laboratories. Current Magnet students will be available to answer questions about student life.
The Center is a specialized magnet program offering Cobb County high school students a unique and advanced curriculum in science, math, and technology. The Center for Advanced Studies opened in the fall of 2000 in a new 33,000 square foot facility designed especially for the program and located on the campus of Wheeler High School, 375 Holt Road.
