Red Sky Tapas & Bar, Marietta’s premier restaurant for chef-driven tapas, dueling pianos, and local music, ups the ante this holiday season with OTP’s first-ever holiday popup, inspired by the movie, A Christmas Story. From the icicle covered patio space to the main dining area glowing with holiday warmth and an Instagram-worthy, kitschy photo room, each space is uniquely decorated and plays into an over-the-top, cohesive vision as Red Sky offers the community a holiday story of its own. Chef Brian Kennington has created a tapas and entrees menu inspired by traditional holiday dishes including Orange Glazed Smoked Duck Breast with Cranberry Chutney and Turkey Leg Confit with Duck Gravy alongside cocktails such as Cranberry Mules, Spiked Eggnog and Vanilla Vodka Winter Wonderland. The holiday pop-up will be offered until December 31, during regular business hours.

“We’ve seen holiday pop-ups of this kind in Midtown Atlanta, Buckhead and Decatur, and we thought, ‘why not here?’ We could not be more excited to introduce East Cobb’s first and only holiday pop-up bar. Throughout the year our guests show us so much love; this is our small holiday gift to the community, and I think our guests are going to love it! It’s going to be a truly one-of-a-kind holiday experience,” said Terry Kirby, proprietor of Red Sky Tapas & Bar.

The A Christmas Story transformation includes a winter wonderland patio space with snowflakes, snow globes and warm, white lights; multi-colored string lights, oversized picture frames; themed props; holiday tunes on repeat; and maybe even a leg lamp (but nothing that will “shoot your eye out!”).
