The Good Mews kitties are busy decorating their lockers and campaigning to be named Homecoming King & Queen in anticipation of their annual auction fundraiser, this year with a homecoming theme, and they hope to see you there! Your $80 ticket includes delicious hors d’oeuvres courtesy of A Peach of a Party along with unlimited beer & wine, plus live music from The After Party! Break out your cummerbunds and corsages, then join Good Mews for a night of eating, drinking, dancing, and bidding… all while raising money for the home team! The fundraiser will be held on Saturday, October 15, 7-9pm at the East Cobb Center, 3920 Canton Road, Suite 100, in Marietta/East Cobb.

Good Mews is one of the few virtually cage-free, no-kill cat shelters in the state of Georgia. Since 1988, Good Mews has placed over 6,800 cats in permanent homes. The nonprofit receives no government support, relying solely on donations of time, service and money from our supporters, the public and area businesses. Good Mews is home to approximately 100 cat residents at any given time, with another 30 to 40 cats in foster care or their HALO program, which allows cats with severe and/or chronic medicals needs to find homes with Good Mews continuing to provide the medical care related to that condition. Good Mews has an average adoption rate of 350 cats per year.
