Atlanta Swim Academy's to Host Underwater Tree Lighting and Food Drive 2Atlanta Swim Academy’s annual Underwater Tree Lighting and Food Drive is Saturday December 1st, 5:30-7:30pm, bringing Santa and swimmers together to benefit the East Cobb Middle School food pantry, serving the Wheeler High School Cluster in Cobb County.

Open swim begins at 5:30pm and everyone is welcome to participate. Swimmers should bring pantry food to receive a glow-stick for decorating the live underwater tree. Atlanta Swim Academy will be matching all donations, hoping to beat last year’s total of 2,000 donated food items!

Instructors will be assisting young swimmers decorate the tree, with parents encouraged to swim too for this fantastic photo opportunity. Open swim continues until lights out at 7:00pm to sing carols around the glowing tree.
