The Cobb County Police Department’s Crimes Against Children Unit is investigating a reported attempted child abduction, which occurred on Hawk Trace Court, Marietta, GA 30066 (Falcon Crest subdivision, near Davis Elementary School.)
According to investigators, a 6-year-old juvenile male was riding his bicycle in the cul de sac of his residence when he was approached by another juvenile. The second juvenile is believed to be approximately 10-years-old. He asked the 6-year-old if he wanted to look at his car. The 6-year-old declined and the 10-year-old then grabbed the 6-year-old by the arm and attempted to drag him to a vehicle. The 6-year-old broke free and ran to his residence. The 10-year-old fled to the waiting vehicle, which was occupied by a white male and white female. The vehicle is described as a white four-door sedan.
