Want to learn to play piano or improve your singing? Preparing for an audition or recital? Look no further than musician/composer Joseph Sfregola who offers voice and piano lessons with a classical touch. The Italian native is a classically trained musician who studied at the Giuseppe Verdi Conservatory, Sfregola offers his students a solid background in musical theory and performance.

“This intensive study isn’t for everyone,” he acknowledges, “but if you are committed to growth and progress, I will get you where you want to be.” For piano, he typically begins with the classics to teach technique but he also caters to the client’s preference, be it modern, jazz, or pop. “I personalize the lessons to motivate students and make it fun,” he says. Voice training includes all levels of singing as well as vocal coaching for those who speak for a living.

Maestro Sfregola’s 25-year career ranges from doing background vocals for superstars such as Michael Jackson to playing piano for some of Italy’s most notable families including Versace, Dolce and Gabbana, and a former prime minister. However, he is just as excited about teaching students in East Cobb and he radiates a passion for music that appeals to children and adults alike. He takes all ages “from 5 to 90” and requires only one thing of his students: “You have to come with a genuine curiosity to want to learn and grow. You’ve got to really want to do this,” says Sfregola.

Lessons are given either at his studio or in the student’s home. For more information, call 470-418-5343 or visit www.bellavitamusica.com.
