Seniors are invited to participate in the 2016 Cobb County Legacy Games, organized by Cobb Senior Services and Cobb PARKS. This competition is open to Cobb residents and non-residents 55 years old and older. The purpose of the games is to provide seniors the chance to participate in a variety of sports, meet new people, learn new leisure skills and become more aware of recreational opportunities available to them in the community.

The opening ceremonies will be held at the Senior Wellness Center on April 8 at 11:00 a.m., and the competitions – including pick ball women’s and men’s billiards, bocce ball, swimming, track, bowling and table tennis – will be held at various facilities. The closing ceremonies will be held on April 22 at 11:00 a.m. at East Cobb Park. Participants can register now at any senior center. Volunteers, including judges and time keepers, are also needed.
