East Cobb voters participated in the “Super Tuesday” primaries voting for the Republican or Democratic candidates they would like to see become president. Cobb County Democratic voters gave 39,277 (63.46%) votes to Democratic candidate Hillary Rodham Clinton and 22,390 (36.18%) votes for Bernie Sanders. Although Republican candidate Donald Trump won the state of Georgia with the most votes, Marco Rubio garnered the most votes from Cobb voters with 38,712 to Trump’s 34,721.
