Know an outstanding rising high school junior? Encourage him/her to apply for Cobb Youth Leadership, a unique program focused on developing leadership skills through interactive participation, presented by Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta. While building networks with students from schools across Cobb County, Cobb Youth Leadership (CYL) students will meet monthly with local and regional leaders while discussing topics such as social services, public safety, politics, health, arts, history and the military.
Students attending public or private high schools or home-school students in Cobb County are encouraged to apply. Applications are reviewed by the CYL Steering Committee and approximately 55 students are chosen for the class. All applications must be submitted by Friday, April 22.
