Tuskegee Airmen of World War II Exhibit. Compliments of the Kennesaw State University Museum of History & Holocaust Education, the East Cobb library will display their Tuskegee Airmen exhibit, which explores the history and heroism of the first African American pilots to fly in combat during World War II. This exhibit offers a look into the historical challenges and triumphs of these unsung American heroes, and will be available for viewing during regular East Cobb Library operating hours. Acworth Slide: World’s Largest Inflatable Water Slide. The 175’ long waterslide is billed as the “World’s Largest Inflatable Water Slide. Each slider must be 42 inches or taller. Farming Beauty. CenterStage North is proud to present a world premiere by one of their own members, Kevin Renshaw. Art is influential; one painting can change lives and the actions inspired by art can have lasting repercussions. Charity Car & Bike Show presented by Don’t Be A Bully Foundation and the Rolling Stampede Mustang Club. This is a family fun event with every type of vehicle, motorcycles, youth games, music, concessions, and anti-bullying speakers. 12-5pm. River Concert: Bonaventure Quartet. Enjoy the unique acoustic sound, a virtual melting pot of European influences, camp, and swing noire.
