Lifeguard Class become a certified lifeguard. Successful participants of this course will be certified in CPR for the professional rescuer, basic first aid, emergency oxygen administration and pool lifeguarding. The Wolf, the Swan, and the Princess presented by Georgia Metropolitan Dance Theatre. Excerpts from three ballet stories are combined into one spellbinding performance, including an all new choreographed version of Peter and the Wolf, divertissement from Act III of Swan Lake featuring the Black Swan pas de deux, and the exciting Pas d’Action from distant lands in La Bayadere. The Great American WEST: Featured works from Booth Western Art Museum. Tribute to Women of Achievement. This event is the largest fundraiser for the YWCA, now known as liveSAFE Resources. Honors 15 women who exemplify the qualities of leadership, achievement, dedication and generosity. One individual will be named Woman of the Year. Carwash for the Kitties is being held on Saturday, March 25th from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm. Get your car washed for $10. A hard-working group of high school students from the Homeless Pets Committee of Hillgrove High will be hosting this car wash fundraiser at Good Mews, and 100% of the proceeds go to the care of our kitties! MARCH 28TH

Women’s Beginner Cycling Clinic will be led by Mary Jo Falvey, owner of Pilates with Mary Jo in Marietta, GA. This FREE 3-week beginner road riding clinic is in conjunction with Sorella Cycling. Sorella Cycling is a women’s only cycling club with over 170 members throughout the metro Atlanta area. Rides will be held on Columns Drive in Marietta on Tuesday evening starting at 6:15pm. Plan to cycle 10–20 miles. Participants will be split into groups based on ability. This is a great way for new bicyclists to learn basic bike handling skills, bike ettiequte, group riding skills, and become familiar with Georgia bike laws. No prior experience required.
