It’s no secret just how much people value their hair stylists. They go to great lengths to schedule life around that cut or color appointment. But Kasha Manser’s customers took it a step further. Not only do they value that perfect cut, but they also helped Kasha start her own salon in East Cobb, beginning with installing the Kasha’s Hair Salon sign to working as a receptionist at the front desk.

Newly opened Kasha’s Hair Salon is located at 2520 Shallowford Road in the Centre Stage Plaza shopping center, close to Lassiter High School. Beautifully decorated, Kasha refers to her salon as “cozy and cute.”

“Creating a friendly, personal atmosphere was at the top of my list,” says Kasha. “I wanted my salon to be a place where customers can get their hair done in a relaxed, comfortable environment with all of the experience of a high-end salon but for a more affordable price. I also wanted to stay away from the industrial feel that you get in so many salons. Here, the person who washes your hair is the same one who cuts, colors and styles it. This approach helps build relationships and a better understanding of a customer’s personality and lifestyle.”

Along with Kasha, there are three additional hair stylists who make up her team. Shadi Shaddian, Maria Paonessa and Jane Lucas join her in this new venture, bringing with them more than 60 years of combined professional experience. Their ages range from 21-50, enabling them to connect with every generation. Also with them came their loyal customers, many of whom were instrumental in helping Kasha’s Hair Salon become a reality.

According to Kasha, her customers made opening her salon so much easier. One customer who owns a sign company created her signature sign in front of the salon. Another customer built her front desk, while still another who works as a handyman offered his services. Two of her customers now share the job of receptionist and greet you with a friendly voice when you call for an appointment.

Some of her customers comment: “Kasha has brought a European flair to East Cobb,” says Karen Tuttle, referring to Kasha’s European descent and lovely accent, and a man who has been her customer for nine years, says, “I love going to see Kasha. Her salon promotes such a soothing environment and feels like a day spa for hair.”

Kasha’s Hair Salon is open on Tuesday-Friday from 10 am – 6pm and on Saturday from 9 am – 5 pm. In addition to cutting, coloring, and styling services, waxing and threading services are also available.
