Meet CycleBar, East Cobb’s newest community gathering spot for families and friends to take a spin, meet new people and have fun! East Cobber Kirsten Rickers, a Wheeler High School graduate, and Lee Oesterling are the owners of CycleBar. Their vision is to provide a low-impact cardio work out in an environment that is anything but the usual gym setting. They guarantee that hard core exercise haters or those just bored with their current routine will love the experience indoor cycling provides. If you are 10 years old, 75 or somewhere in between, this is the place for you. Welcome to a new world where getting fit is a compete blast.

42 stationary bikes are positioned toward the leader boards and the “CycleStars,” the instructors for the 45-minute classes. Cyclists set their own goals, there are no limits on you on how far you take yourself and you can track your progress on the lighted boards. Slow and steady or speedy and intense, it is your call. CycleBar is a pressure-free environment. “There really is no ceiling for our customers, they can make it whatever they want it to be. We love to see entire families rocking out on the bikes together, combining exercise with quality time,” says Kirsten. “Who says exercise has to be a boring necessity on the way to fitness? Certainly not us! Many riders enjoy the workouts so much, they have become CycleStars themselves.”

A dark studio with colorful ceiling lights and music with a great beat create a cool vibe. Newcomers to indoor cycling don’t need to buy cycle shoes, CycleBar has you covered. The theme days further adds to a great experience. “Mash Up Mondays” feature 2 different artists such as Bruno Mars vs. Maroon 5. “Wine Down Wednesdays” means a glass of vino awaits after the class. “Throw Back Thursdays” highlights a different theme each week like Disco, Big Hair Bands, etc. Friday happy hours kick off the weekend and Sunday brunch are special touches members enjoy.

They are proud of their support of Good Mews, the ALS Foundation, the Atlanta 2-Day Breast Cancer Walk and many other worthy causes.

East Cobbers are invited for a free introductory session. There are over 30 classes on the schedule each week which includes 2 INTRO classes.
