” My dad, Danny, is one of the greatest men I know, and I am very fortunate to call him “Dad” along with my three siblings. He plays a huge role in the East Cobb community by serving as the Sports and Fitness Minister at Johnson Ferry Baptist Church. If he is not at the JF Fields coaching, he can be found either running at the Chattahoochee River or playing tennis with our neighbors. He is humble. He is caring. He is kind. He pushes us to reach our goals and challenges us to achieve greater. He helps to take our dreams and turn them to reality. He leads our family in the most Godly way and encourages us to always walk closely with the Lord. He allows us to cry and sits with us in our sadness, as well as rejoices with us in our happiness. He deserves to be Father-of-the-Year (although he already is to us)!”
