East Cobb has been named by MONEY magazine as the best place to live in Georgia.

“The unincorporated area administered by the Cobb County Government was once dominated by chain restaurants, but it’s now embracing mom-and-pops that will give your taste buds a pleasant surprise—and make the most of the small-town Dixie hospitality,” said MONEY magazine, which released its Best Places to Live on Monday. Accompanying their blurb is a photo from a recent EAST COBBER Parade.

This is the first year the publication has added a best in state to its annual listing. The Best in State places were chosen based on economic and lifestyle factors.
