Attention high school players, parents and rugby fans in East Cobb! East Cobb Rugbybrings together the existing core group of East Cobb High School students participating in rugby from Pope, Walton and Lassiter Schools.Players and parents are invited to attend an informational meeting on Thursday, October 13, 7-8:30pm, at the Youth Center, Mt. Zion UMC,1770 Johnson Ferry Road in Marietta/East Cobb 30062. This meeting is part of a kick off for the new club and an opportunity for players and their families to meet the club officials, complete player forms and ask questions.The meeting will explain the exciting opportunities of the new club for the 2016-2017 season. Come and learn about practices, games and the season ahead and get registered.
The new club has an open recruitment policy and players from other schools are welcome to join. The club will play in the Georgia Rugby Division and also play teams across the Southeastern States.
