This legendary staple of Atlanta family fun is available nightly throughout the summer. Featuring forty-five minutes of high-tech visuals, the Lasershow Spectacular never disappoints.

Have a Sunday Funday at The High Museum!  

Swing by the High Museum of Art in Atlanta and fill your afternoon with stories, art and entertainment! Every 2nd Sunday, the High Museum hosts a family-friendly program with art-making workshops with fun hands-on projects that connect to works of art in their permanent collection and special exhibitions.  This month, Warhol, Wigs, and Wiggles!

Cost: Admission is free from 12 noon to 5pm

Time: Programming takes place from 1-4pm

Kids Skate Free at Sparkles Family Fun Center!

Beat the heat but stay active at Sparkles this summer using their Kids Skate Free program. To get the free skating passes, simply visit the website, follow the directions and start skating! The Kids Skate Free Program allows participants to skate free on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays. This skating center only allows children 10 years old and younger to participate.

Make It to the Marietta Museum of History’s Mice Tour!

The Marietta Museum of History hosts tours for the smallest of visitors! Introduce your toddler to history through concepts like shapes, sounds, games, tools, and jobs. Museum Mascots Murray and Etta are whimsical cartoon mice that help convey the themes and provide fun. The tour will offer a variety of activities including story time and crafts. Be sure to make a reservation! We require that you reserve a spot for your toddler. Reserving a spot will allow the staff to have enough items for the crafts.

Cost: $5 per family (1 adult and 3 children), $5 for each additional guest

Enjoy a nice and refreshing walk through the Powers Island Trail! The Powers Island Trail courses through a number of trails on the river’s shore and explores an island, an inlet, and the banks of the shoaling Chattahoochee. Have an adventure with your kids as you walk this serene and picturesque trail.
