With more than 100 classes to choose from, the second Pinners Conference & Expo in Atlanta offers the opportunity and knowledge to turn Pinterest fails into major wins. Held Friday and Saturday, April 27 and 28 at the Cobb Galleria Centre, Pinners expects to welcome more than 10,000 crafty (or wouldbe crafty) attendees who get the chance to learn, create and connect with the most inspiring and creative people on the web, face-to-face.

The diverse range of classes allows attendees to learn techniques and go home with new skills and finished projects. For 2018, Pinners welcomes these local presenters:

How to Update and Decorate Your Space on a Budget – Erin Marshall shares ways to decorate the home by creating beautiful and budget-friendly spaces. A working wife, mom and home décor blogger, Marshall loves to inspire women to create the beauty they want to see in their homes.

Hand-Stamped Mandala Cuff or Hand-Stamped Texture Cuff – Participants learn basic metal stamping practice with Rita Pannulla from ImpressArt and create a cuff to take home.

Farmhouse Shiplap Sign – In this class, participants create with word kits and shiplap plank and learn BB Frösch Chalk Paint Powder skills from Cassandra Cooper, Kenzi Booher, Kristin Smith and Kacey Stout, entrepreneurs who met at Pinners Conference 2016 and bonded over their shared experiences of owning small businesses and inventing their own products.

Leather Bags, Cases and Boxes – Debbie Velazquez with Tandy Leather will lead participants through the crafting of an eyeglass case, a treasure box or a leather makeup bag complete with strap and zipper.

Do-It-Herself Workshop Jewelry Organizer – With The Home Depot, participants can build a beautiful jewelry organizer to display favorite accessories. Like all Home Depot workshops, this class is designed to provide women with an array of tool experience and the confidence to take on any project from start to finish.

Three Major Mindset Changes that Will Change How you Declutter – Dana K. White, author of Decluttering at the Speed of Life, explains the mindset changes that freed her from her own irrational attachments to stuff and that have allowed hundreds of thousands of women to reset their thinking and let go of the clutter.

Get Yo Jam On! – Master jammer Brenda Hill, owner of The Passionate Preserver, teaches safe home canning techniques during this fun workshop. Participants will reap the benefits of Hill’s experience and taste some delicious jams along the way.
