EVERY THURSDAY

Ukulele Club at JMEC. Come and learn new songs and enjoy playing your Ukulele in a group setting. Players will learn chords and strumming techniques while learning new songs. Jukebox Giants: Motown and More! This stellar show will transport any music lover on a trip back to the golden age of classic pop and Motown music, featuring everyone’s favorite hits from the 50’s, 60’s, and 70’s. Atlanta GLOW’s Young Women’s Leadership Conference. Each year the Leadership Incubator Program (LIP) provides the opportunity for highly motivated high school and college-aged ladies to develop leadership and soft skills, increase self-confidence and support networks, explore career interests, improve their resumes, learn how to impact their communities and improve their odds for college and career success.​ 9:30am – 4:30pm. $30. Safe Sitter Class. Safe Sitter is a nationally recognized babysitter education program offered by WellStar. Designed for youth ages 11-14. Sundays on the River Concert Series.  Featuring the smooth Jazz sounds of Carol Albert on June 11 and Bob Bakert and Friends on July 9. 6-9pm. Annual GA 400 Hospitality Hwy Bike Ride. Ride your bike on the forbidden Hwy GA 400. All lanes are closed so you can ride safely and get the thrill of a lifetime. Join 2,000 other riders to embark on a memorable ride of 9, 27, 45, 60 or 100 miles throughout the best roads in North Georgia filled with horse farms and small country roads. Pop-In for Pop Culture. Explore the Museum in a whole new way!  Every 2nd Tuesday the galleries will “Pop Open” for a day of Pop Culture from the 1950s and 60s.  Enjoy reminiscing about the music, food, games and so much more!
