21st Annual EAST COBBER Parade & Festival. Come see the largest parade in Cobb County! Bring a bag to grab all the candy thrown by parade participants. Entertainment, food and fun activities for the whole family. The EAST COBBER Parade begins at 10am. Candlelite Concert: AJ Ghent Band. Presented by The South Cobb Arts Alliance, the AJ Ghent Band constructs a soulful-indie rock sound. Their style can be defined as fresh, yet reminiscent on music of times past. 8-10pm. Free parking and general admission. Table reservations are available for a fee. SEPTEMBER 17-18

25th Annual Marietta Street Fest and Toy Box Trot presented by The Marietta Museum of History. Free activities including make and take projects, giant inflatables, arts and craft vendors, Classic Car Cruise-In, Grassroots Music Festival, and entrance to the Museum. Festival begins Saturday with a Toy Box Trot 1M Fun Run at 8:30am. Saturday: 9am-5pm, with the Car Show: 10am-3pm (weather permitting), Music Festival: 3-9pm, and Museum: 10am-4pm. 50th Annual Roswell Arts Festival presented by the Roswell Recreation Association. Come out and enjoy artists and craftsmen from across the Southeast, local singers, children’s painting, sand art, and food vendors. Saturday and Sunday: 10am-5pm. SEPTEMBER 18

Family Fun Day: Outdoor Skills Day. Canoeing, camping, and more! Outdoor Skills Day will help you enjoy being outside as you learn the basic outdoor skills for survival; whether you are new or seasoned to the outdoors. Local partners will be exhibiting and will be ready to share their expertise with you through mini-clinics. 12-4pm. SEPTEMBER 19

4th Annual M.U.S.T. Charity Golf Tournament. Fun-filled day of golf and prizes raises funds to help neighbors in need. Registration begins at 7:30am with a shotgun start at 9am. $150/person. Cobb Chamber/WellStar Business Open Golf Tournament. Enjoy a day on the links with business friends, clients or prospects, and network with Cobb Chamber leadership, board members and numerous elected officials. Money raised goes to the Cobb Chamber Foundation to fund leadership training, education programs, building maintenance and equipment needs. Registration/driving range open at 9am. SEPTEMBER 20

The Southern Trilogy of Homes Homeschool Day. The Roswell Convention and Visitors Bureau and “A Southern Trilogy: The Historic Homes of Roswell” will host a Homeschool Day for homeschool students The theme will be about the Cherokee Native American removal. Registration is encouraged. The registration price before September 5 is $12. After September 5 price will be $15. Children under 6 are free. SEPTEMBER 22

Chattahoochee Nature Center (CNC) Sunset Sips. Bring a picnic and grab a beverage or snack (beer and wine available for purchase), listen to live acoustic music from local musicians. 6:30-9:30pm.
