Thanks to Missy Shackelford, principal at Blackwell Elementary School, for telling us about her dog Boomer, and cat Caesar, who not only peacefully co-exist, but also have quite a bit in common.

Boomer is an 8-year-old bulldog and Caesar is a 1-year-old tabby, and these boys both love chicken and are great at sleeping and cuddling, quite often sharing the same bed.

Their favorite person is Sami and neither of them like loud noises. Boomer’s favorite toy is a rope, while Caesar prefers his toy mouse.

What makes them special? Missy says simply: “They’re part of our family!”
