The Newcomers Club of Cobb County held their Installation Luncheon last month at the Sibley Forest clubhouse. Their annual installation luncheon inaugurated the new Executive Board members. The club selects a different theme every year. This year, they chose the theme Hollywood because, as member Dotti Cantini shares, “we consider our board and activity chairs, stars of the club.”
Newcomers of Cobb County, is a women’s social club that offers an open door to making new friends. The purpose of the club is to aid in the development of friendships among residents in the community and to participate in social activities. The “New” in our name means any new phase of your life. Newly retired? Newly single? New to the area? New Empty Nester? Find out more about the club on their website: www.newcomersofcobbcounty.com. They welcome new members and want to meet you! You are invited to join our monthly general meetings, on the third Tuesday of the month from September through May. The club meets at 10am at John Knox Presbyterian Church, 505 Powers Ferry Road in Marietta /East Cobb. There are no meetings in June or July.
