The Marietta Police Department is dedicated to protecting its citizens in every way possible. While our focus is on finding ways to fight and prevent crime, we are also dedicated to find ways to educate and protect our youth. To that end, MPD is involved in protecting children through a program called Rad Kids. Rad Kids is a personal empowerment safety education program which included a 10-hour curriculum for children ages 5-7.

Topics covered include: bully prevention, internet, home, school, vehicle, and outdoor safety. We will also teach them about predator tricks and physical resistance strategies against child abduction. MPD currently has five trained Rad Kids instructors dedicated to helping teach your kids to be safe.

MPD has a class currently scheduled for April. Opening are still available. The cost for this class is $10. Please sign up your own kids or refer us to parents with kids ages 5-7. The dates for this class is:

July 23rd – July 27th 6:00 pm to 8:00 am. The classes will be held at Westside Elem. (344 Polk St, Marietta, GA 30060)
