Rain Policy

EAST COBBER PARADE & FESTIVAL RAIN POLICY

  1. SAFETY IS OUR #1 PRIORITY!
  2. We will not cancel the night before the event date.
  3. All EAST COBBER Parade participants & Festival vendors must setup and be ready to go even though there might be some drizzle – or even some claps of thunder – by parade start time.
  4. In the event of inclement weather, Cobb County Police will determine if a delay is required or decide if the Parade should be cancelled.
  5. Cobb County Police will make the decision at 9AM if it looks like an electrical storm and if we can or cannot proceed safely.
  6. No rain date for the EAST COBBER Parade or Festival will be scheduled.
  7. No refunds are given for the EAST COBBER Parade & Festival commercial entries or exhibitors due to cancellation.
  8. Participation in the EAST COBBER Parade and/or Festival requires acceptance of the EAST COBBER Parade & Festival Rain Policy.
  9. Parade participants and Festival exhibitors are responsible for making all members of their group aware of this Rain Policy prior to the event.
  10. In the event of cancellation, notification will announced on the EAST COBBER Facebook Page the day of the event.
