The Spring Native Plant Sale is the biggest fundraiser for the Chattahoochee Nature Center (CNC) and the perfect way to get your home ready for spring! Going native provides a wealth of benefits to your space, including privacy, beauty, blossoms, food, and homes to our wide diversity of animals. Attract butterflies, pollinators, birds and more to your garden by adding native plants. CNC horticulturists and Master Gardeners will be on hand to answer your plant questions and help you find the perfect plants for your yard–from full sun to full shade! Over 120 plant varieties will be available to purchase, including:

  • Butterfly Host and Nectar plants including Milkweed, Hibiscus, Salvias, Asters, Fennel, Bee balm, Joe Pye weed
  • Blooming trees and shrubs including Native Azaleas
  • Early bloomers including Columbine, Geranium, Bloodroot, Beardtongue, and Irises
  • Shade-loving groundcovers including Ferns, Alumroot, Foam flower, Phloxes, and
  • A wide selection of herb and veggie seedlings from the CNC Unity Garden.

The Chattahoochee Nature Center is a 128-acre non-profit environmental educational facility located on the Chattahoochee River in the north metro Atlanta area. The Center offers nature trails, a wetland boardwalk, live animal exhibits, native plant gardens and a Discovery Center with the only Nature Exchange in the Southeast.
