Seafood lovers on the lookout for exciting, high-quality brunch options will soon be charting a course for Drift Fish House & Oyster Bar at The Avenue East Cobb. The popular restaurant is launching Sunday brunch on Jan. 22 with the same alluring combination of mouthwatering starters, inspired entrées and raw bar selections that has made Drift a must-visit destination since its opening last year.

“We’ve been looking forward to launching Sunday brunch since Day One,” says chef/owner Doug Turbush, the man behind popular East Cobb restaurants Seed Kitchen & Bar and Stem Wine Bar. “We’re thrilled to offer East Cobb a creative, chef-driven brunch option in a one-of-a kind casual setting. Our goal is for brunch at Drift to become a cherished Sunday tradition for Marietta and the entire metro area.”

Current lunch favorites such as crab deviled eggs ($9), fish and chips ($16) and raw oysters are bolstered by imaginative brunch options like the lobster chilaquiles with chipotle, avocado, Cotija cheese and crema ($17) and the “Hangtown” Benedict with 12-hour thick-cut bacon, fried oysters, poached eggs and brown butter hollandaise ($16). Non-seafood selections—including sweet and savory dishes such as house-made doughnut holes ($6), praline French toast with salted caramel and bourbon cream ($12), Dutch baby “pancake” with lemon sabayon ($11) and the Drift burger ($14)—round out the menu alongside tasty soups, salads and sides.

“We’ve worked hard to perfect the menu because we truly want this to be an experience you can’t get anywhere else,” says executive chef Brendan Keenan. “I think we’ve come up with an exceptional mix of signature brunch flavors that highlight our sustainable approach to seafood.”

The menu is complemented by a selection of brunch cocktails courtesy of beverage manager Jose Pereiro. Soon-to-be favorites include the Just Beet It (vodka, beet shrub, lime and mint) and the Rock the Boat (rum, mango, jalapeño and cilantro).

Located in The Avenue East Cobb at 4475 Roswell Road in Marietta, Drift now opens at 10 a.m. on Sundays for brunch, with lunch served Monday through Saturday beginning at 11:30 a.m. and dinner nightly. For more information, call 770-635-7641 or visit driftoysterbar.com.
