Here is a great way for your teen to spend his/her February break… a full driver’s education class! Your teen can complete all 30 hours in one week!

Since 2006, the Safe America Foundation has brought safe teen driving programs to metro Atlanta high schools, working closely with principals, PTA/PTSAs to educate our teens on the importance of being safe ‘behind the wheel.’

What: State-Certified Full Driver’s Education Course
Where: 2000 First Drive, Suite 310, Marietta (a block from Sprayberry High School)
When: February 15 – 19, 2016, 9:00 am to 3:30 pm daily

Course details:

  • Satisfies the Joshua’s Law coursework requirements for teens under 17 who wish to get their Class D Intermediate license
  • Provides 30 hours of classroom instruction and 6 hours of behind-the-wheel training with state-certified instructors
  • Provides teens with the state-mandated Alcohol and Drug Awareness (ADAP) instruction
  • Covers such topics as basic car mechanics, what to do in cases of road rage, driving in adverse weather conditions and the dangers of distracted and impaired driving

Additionally, graduates of the program are eligible for a 3-year 10% reduction in insurance premiums and parents are eligible for a $150 Georgia Income Tax Credit.
